LivinWell Workshop comes to Business Fuel

Livin Well Workshop

We recently had the team from LIVIN present their Mental Health Education and Stigma Reduction Program delivered right here in Business Fuel HQ. It was great to meet two of their facilitators Luke and Al who, apart from being energetic and engaging presenters, brought with them real world examples and experiences making the discussion highly relatable for all.

The team was led through various ways to initiate genuine conversations with family, friends and colleagues as a “check in” on their wellbeing. We learnt where to seek help and access further assistance and resources if needed as well as effective self-care strategies to assist our own stress management at work and home.

Feedback from the team has been overwhelmingly positive. They felt that they had greatly benefited from the session and were now more comfortable with asking for help for themselves or asking others if they need help.

LIVIN equip individuals with the skills to better understand and discuss what the early warning signs are (such as changes in behaviours) that might indicate you or your friends and family might need help. The session provided a great opportunity for self-reflection and appreciation of how important now, more than ever, our mental wellbeing is.

In additional to the many benefits for the team, it’s great to know that by booking our workshop we are also supporting LIVIN to run more sessions in schools which for young people, can be life changing and potentially lifesaving. We would highly recommend any workplace across Australia running this session for their teams and as mentioned it also supports the great work they already do in schools.

Visit LIVIN.org to learn more about the great work they do and how you can support them.
